Welcome to the UMSL Network. It is required that all Faculty, Staff and Student machines be registered. Please choose the appropriate operating system that matches your computer below.

All Windows and Macintosh 10.4.and Above based systems are required to have the NAC Persistent Agent installed. This Agent allows your system to check in regularly and tell us that your system is up to date. This will help keep our network free from viruses and worms, which will make for a more stable network.

Linux/Unix based operating systems and Mac 10.3.9 and Below can use a web interface to register their system. Just choose option Number 3 below to continue.

	Download the Windows Agent
	Download and Install the Windows Agent . This will download and install the Windows Persistent Agent on your system. If you are not comfortable installing software, instructions are provided for you there.

	Download the Macintosh Agent for Mac OS 10.4 and Above
	Download and Install the Macintosh Agent. This will download and install the Macintosh Persistent Agent on your system. If you are not comfortable installing software, instructions are provided for you there.

	Mac 10.3.9 and below and Linux based systems
	Register your system by using our web site. this will be used for Mac OS 10.3.9 and below as well as Linux and Unix based systems.
